Here in Fairwater we're lucky to have big gardens, but they can also feel like a big responsibility. Maybe you're keen on growing things you can eat - vegetables and fruit, or maybe you're passionate about flowers. Maybe you've just got started and would like help with planning, or maybe you've got a long established garden and would like to share your expertise. This spring how about meeting up with other people who share your enthusiasm?
We arrange to meet every few weeks and try out a number of ways to enjoy and learn about gardens. For example we :
· visit each other's gardens to share our plans, ideas and tips
· swap plants, seeds and cuttings
· help each other out with jobs that need several people to do well
· organise visits to professional gardens (for example, the National Botanic Gardens of Wales, or Dyffryn Gardens) or to private gardens open to the public through the National Garden Scheme.
If you're interested call or email : Pat, 02920 226990 or [email protected]
